Costco Rep Refutes Claim By Diddy’s Lawyer That He Bought Baby Oil in Bulk From Them
Nationwide store chain Costco denies having anything to do with Diddy‘s alleged “Freak Off” supplies.
For background, an unsealed indictment connected to the music mogul’s arrest explains that during Homeland Security searches of his properties in March, 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant, amongst other items were seized. With alleged “Freak Off” videos reportedly being seized from Diddy’s Miami and Los Angeles homes, the indictment claimed that the aforementioned products were used during the lengthy sex parties. During them, victims were allegedly forced into intense physical exertion for up to days.
With baby oil being the butt of “Freak Off” jokes on social media over the past week, Diddy’s attorney, Marc Agnifilio, claimed that his client simply prefers to buy in bulk.
“I don’t think it was 1,000. I think it was a lot. I mean, there is a Costco right down the street. I think Americans buy in bulk, as we know,” Agnifilio told the New York Post last Saturday (Sept. 21).
“And you know these are consensual adults doing what consensual adults do, you know, we can’t get so puritanical in this country to think that somehow sex is a bad thing because if it was there would be no more people,” he continued.
But a Costco rep isn’t buying the explanation, telling TMZ that baby oil cannot be purchased at any of its U.S. locations.
Diddy probably won’t be able to get his hands on much aside from commissary these days, as he’s currently being held in Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center until his trial on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
