Coi Leray Shares Message on Men Needing ‘Discipline’ Amid Trippie Redd Cheating Speculation
Coi Leray had a message for fans after recently accusing Trippie Redd of cheating on her while pregnant with their baby.
The rapper took to X on Monday night, writing, “Girls don’t care if he got a baby on the way, married, in a relationship, just had a baby, happily in love, it doesn’t matter what it is, they gone always be there.
“What matters is a mans DISCIPLINE & the way he don’t play about his girl. He gotta be ready for commitment 100%.”
She also shared some musings on how she wants her career to grow.
Late last month, the 27-year-old seemingly accused Redd of being unfaithful just days after they revealed they were expecting their first child together on Jan. 1.
“Nothing worst than being cheated on,” Coi wrote on her Instagram Story, adding that she “wouldn’t wish this pain on my worst enemy.”
She then teased a song, which also appeared to address Trippie’s infidelity. “All the times I caught you cheating, I shoulda killed you but you gon’ have to see this,” she sings in the clip, in which she also shows off her baby bump. “You told me you love me but you ain’t mean it. … If this is what love is you can keep it. … Try to use you to fill the void that my father left.”
Leray still hasn’t mentioned Redd by name. Leray and Redd briefly dated back in 2019; after almost five years apart, they rekindled their romance last August.
Her dad, Benzino also revealed that she didn’t tell him about her pregnancy herself. “I’m gonna be a grandfather,” he remarked on an episode of We in Miami Podcast. “I just found out when everybody else found out.” The pair seem to have an estranged relationship.
