Carly and The Universe drops visuals for “Honey” [Video]

Carly and The Universe share the bright captivating visuals for their song “Honey,” the follow-up to their last release “Salvation.”  The band switches up their usual pop style with a ragtime twist and their distinct eclectic musical aesthetics ranging from rousing drum grooves, pulsating basslines, and Carly’s seductive melodic performance.  Inspired by the human need to always want to be in control, the track gives an interesting take on the matter with her carefree approach ripe with sensuality and passion.

The visual continues the band’s knack for gripping aesthetics but this time, the focus is solely on Carly. The director makes use of seamless performance shots of her belting notes and dancing seductively in different costumes. Carly really puts in work with her moves and the colorful backdrops also add a nice touch to the overall feel of the video.
