Cardi B Pranks Fans With Raising Cane’s Chicken-Smelling Moisturizing Sauce
Cardi B fooled fans with a prank skincare cream by IPSY and Raising Cane’s.
On Tuesday (April 1), otherwise known as April Fool’s Day, the Grammy winner dropped a clip about her new skincare routine, courtesy of the subscription beauty box and fried chicken chain.
“So everybody asks me, how do my skin look so beautiful, so shiny at the age of 32, three kids, job stressing me out and sleepless nights,” Cardi began. “Well, I’ve been using this new cream. It’s the Cane’s Moisturizing Sauce Cream.”
The “Enough (Miami)” then showed the product’s “pigmentation” and explained that it’s “non-greasy, non-sticky, and smells just like chicken.” Cardi then rubbed the product into her face, calling it “so delicious” and “so refreshing” before giving it a taste because she was “hungry.”
“Cane’s–you sure know how to make a good moisturizer. Yeah, get that,” she concluded.
But the cream doesn’t actually exist–as it was a part of promotion for IPSY and Cane’s. The fast food chain does, however, have an edible Cane’s sauce that can be snagged at any of their 900-plus stores. Don’t try Cardi’s beauty hack at home.
The Bronx native has long shared her beauty secrets, including the viral BRMUD clay mask and her DIY hair mask concoction.
