Cam’ron Slams Comedian Red Grant for Calling Him a Liar Over Katt Williams’ Fart Story
Cam’ron is responding to comedian Red Grant’s claims that he lied about Katt Williams’ falling out with Dipset.
In an episode of his Talk With Flee show that dropped Tuesday, (March 11) the Dipset member addressed Grant, who recently denied the accuracy of Cam’s account of the night Williams fell out with the Set. He insisted the fart incident really happened and called the story too absurd to be fabricated.
“The Red n***a, Katt Williams was dissing you all night,” Cam said around the 15-minute mark in the video linked above. “You was the n***a that I was talking about—he kept kicking you out of the room. You kept trying to run in and get your money. Cam claimed Katt fired his DJ, kicked Red out of the room “at least seven times” and refused to pay him.
“How ridiculous is this story to make up?” he continued. “Like, who the fuck is running around talking about farting on and not farting on n****s, and n***** getting snuffed over farts? Who the fuck would make that up? Like, what kind of imagination do you have to have to make up a whole fart story, including Katt Williams in it or myself to be in it?”
Cam added: “And like you said you was there? It was seven-eight n****s I know that was there. I’m gonna start gonna get the testimony of all the n****s that was in the room that night.”
Further into the episode, Cam said he has “no problem” with Williams but was simply recalling the story. He also separately acknowledged that the comedian, or his social media manager, may have been upset for sharing it.
“I don’t know if Katt Williams runs his page, but whoever runs his page—if it’s him, they DM me after I told the story. Nothing even bad. It was alright. I’ll screenshot, you know, I saved it just in case,” he said.
Red Grant, who is currently touring with Williams for his Heaven on Earth Tour, called foul in a response shared to his Instagram on Friday (March 7).
“Y’all know I don’t get involved with certain things, but this boy, right here? That’s a lying ass boy right here, boy,” Grant said in a video.
“Cam’ron, come on, bro. We only met a few times. And one of the times is the night that you talking about in Philadelphia. That you slammed my man on the ground and you did all the crazy wild stuff—you had one of them Soulja Boy stories.”
On an episode of his Talk With Flee podcast shared last week, Cam recounted meeting Williams when the comedian aspired to be a rapper, which led him to be briefly affiliated with Dipset in the mid-2000s. However, their partnership didn’t work out due to internal issues within the group.
The breaking point came at a Philadelphia concert when Williams allegedly accused a Dipset member of farting on him at one of the locker rooms backstage.
“So I see Katt walk around the room, I assume he’s asking n****s who farted,” recalled Cam, 43. “I guess everybody said no. So Katt come from across the room and punched [the Dipset member] in the face dumb hard. Off instinct, I grab Katt, flip Katt upside down, and slammed Katt. And then as I’m about to kick him I snap out of it.”
