Burna Boy Brings His ‘African Giant’ Album to Laid-Back Tiny Desk Concert: Watch

Burna Boy stopped by NPR in the midst of his back-to-back sold-out D.C. tour dates earlier this year, as the latest installment of the Tiny Desk concert series released on Monday morning (Nov. 18).

The Afrofusion artist arrived much later this his band and got straight to business. Donning official Burna Boy merch with his five-piece band rocking black "The Outsiders" shirts, a fatigued Burna breezed through a four-track set from his acclaimed African Giant album that included "Gbona," "Wetin Man Go Do," "Dangote," before finishing off with "Ye."

On the music front, Burna is still working hard, as he notched a placement on the Queen & Slim film soundtrack, which saw him sample Fela Kuti's "Shakara" from 1972 on his "My Money, My Baby" track. The movie hits theaters next week (Nov. 27).
