Boosie Badazz Issued Warrant in Texas for Unpaid Chauffeur Bill
Boosie Badazz is a wanted man in Travis County, TX.
KXAN reports that the Louisiana rapper is facing a charge for theft of service greater than or equal to $2,500 and less than $30,000.
According to an affidavit, a limo and chauffeur service serviced Hatch, and others, from June 5 to June 7. This company claims that it was never paid for those services, despite being informed beforehand that he would be paying for everything in cash.
The chauffeur driver reportedly drove the rapper to Walmart, transported him and a child to an urgent care facility to get treatment, brought him to Burger King, went to a trampoline park, and even took him to a federal courthouse in downtown Austin so he could check in with a federal parole officer.
Happy with the service he received, Hatch posted a video on social media to promote the company. He’d later suggest that doing that should lower the price of what he’d have to pay.
An invoice was sent to Boosie and it was reportedly never paid. He’s set to appear in court on Oct. 28 because of this.
Boosie’s got a lot on his mind right now besides this court case. Earlier this month, the rapper expressed his frustration with the announcement that Kendrick Lamar would be performing at the Super Bowl next year in New Orleans instead of talent from the state of Louisiana.
“All y’all acting like y’all cool with how they playing it for the Super Bowl SMH the most cultural city [in] the USA (New Orleans) it’s a smack in the face to every hip hop legend from Louisiana!” wrote Boosie in an all-caps post.
He went on to suggest that an artist like Master P or Birdman should be involved with the show instead. “This shows they never wanted y’all to kick [in] the door [in] the first place ’cause they still tryna lock it!!” he continued. “Super Bowl 22′ was Cali [and] Cali artist was allowed to do they thang [and] it was a great show!! But now it’s [in] Louisiana [and] no Louisiana legends can’t do they thang #idontrespectit.”
