Backwood Brat returns with an engaging new video for, “Ah Ah”

With the summer rounding third base, it's starting to become more and more clear who used these last few months to their advantage. Hailing from Southern California, rising songstress Backwood Brat is definitely one of the artists to do so, as she released her debut album, Give n' Take and garnered some buzz due to that and a handful of engaging videos to go along. Looking to keep the momentum going, she checks into our pages for the second time in two months as she unleashes her new video for, "Ah Ah."

Receiving the video treatment after becoming a fan favorite on Brat's album, "Ah Ah," is a fun, lyrically engaging single that finds her showcasing her underrated abilities as an emcee. Known for the infectious way she employs her melodies, as well as her ability to create anthemic bangers, she does a great job of meshing the two, making for an incredibly engaging chorus that is hard to forget, and easy to learn. Directed by Zurik Wame, the video does a great job of accompanying this as Brat is mostly alone throughout video, which allows her to showcase her charisma. Surrounded by money and weed while draped in a red light, the camera staying on her throughout the video does a great job of helping to drive home some of her lyrics.

With this single stemming from her debut, Give n' Take, it might be a good idea to listen to the rest of the project. Take a peek at the video above and get familiar.
