BabyK Osama Announces “Before I Break Through” EP and Drops New Video “Monkey See Monkey Do”
BabyK Osama, the 19-year-old spitfire rapper from Jacksonville, FL has just announced the 9/8 release date for his upcoming EP, Before I Break Through, and released a new video single, “Monkey See Monkey Do”. The single is a heart-thumping track laced with braggadocios one-liners, clever wordplay, and confidence on the mic well beyond his years. His upcoming project, Before I Break Through showcases the sheer dexterity of his sound—from show-stopping, heavy-handed drill songs, somber and reflective cuts, to party-jumping records, cementing that BabyK can truly do it all. With features from established heavy hitters like Doe Boy and OMB Peezy, as well as fellow Jacksonville rappers like superstar Yungeen Ace, Jdot Breezy, & Anti Da Menace, BabyK Osama’s upcoming EP is a testament to the confidence that his peers have in him. After breaking through on the scene in 2021 and continuing his run with notable singles like “Ticket” & “Dumb Shit” (feat. Jdot Breezy), BabyK Osama is aiming to establish himself in Florida’s upper-echelon with the release of Before I Break Through on 9/8.
BabyK Osama has captured fans with his vivid imagery, passionate vocals, and consistent releases. BabyK grew up on artists like J.Cole & Kendrick Lamar, but his influence also draws from the likes of Kodak Black and Lil Durk. He first started to take rapping seriously while he was locked up, spending most of his time in jail writing. After he was released, BabyK Osama dropped his head-spinning single “Michael Phelps Son” which was subsequently released on his 2021 mixtape, Judgement. He continued dropping new music at a steady pace through 2021 before following up with his next tape BabyK 2, in early 2022, featuring the notable single “No Drive By’s”. On the heels of his recently released project Genesis, BabyK is already plotting his next move. “I just know I can get better. Each tape, once something out, I just be like, ‘Okay…Onto the next one.’ Tracks like “Dirty Dancing” and “Ms. Stacy” portray the talent of a preternaturally gifted MC and hitmaker, but BabyK has been working towards this point with a relentless determination, which is why he knows he’s going to get even better, despite everything he’s accomplished thus far.
