Armani Jackson opens up about his sleep paralysis in “Haunted” [Video]

Armani Jackson has claimed a significant number of creative accomplishments for a 17-year old. Best recognized for his starring acting roles, Armani has had tremendous success in both film and television, and now the young artist is continuing to boldly carve out a path for himself in the hip-hop and R&B scene.

Following a significant amount of buzz around his latest single, “Out of My Brain,” Armani just released his latest single and accompanying visuals for “Haunted.” As stated in a recent release, this track sees Jackson open up about his struggles with sleep paralysis while also battling depression after a break-up. Armani Jackson has a remarkable ability to tap into his vulnerability and translate heavy feelings and pain into compelling music. In “Haunted,” Armani’s voice, delivery and charisma flow effortlessly over a hypnotic beat that adds a layer of mysteriousness and unsettling emotion. The melancholic vibe of the song pulls you in, connecting you to the dark feelings that he’s experiencing while also producing a sense of heavy nostalgia for the listener. The song’s production is minimalistic but top-notch, with a little help from collaborators The Morgue who have credits with Trey Songz, Lil Yachty, Saweetie, Rihanna to name a few.

Outside of music, Armani Jackson is best known for his starring role alongside Vin Diesel in “The Last Witch Hunter,” Lionsgate’s “Cooties,” and his upcoming lead role as the character “Joey" in the much-anticipated TBS/HBO Max series, “Chad.” In his free time, Armani also writes scripts and develops concepts for horror genres and psychological thrillers by teens and for teens.
