Amber Rose Says She’s Been to ‘Every’ Diddy Party But Never Got Invited to His Alleged ‘Freak-Offs’
Speaking with Shannon Sharpe on his Club Shay Shay series, Amber Rose admitted that she’s been to “every party” Diddy hosted but never saw any evidence of his alleged “freak-offs.”
Around the 1:28:00 point of the interview, seen above, Sharpe asked Rose about the talk surrounding all of these “Hollywood Parties” and wanted to know what’s “really going on” at them. “I’ve been to probably every one, I’ve been to every party,” she shared. “I’ve been to every white party since 2009. I’ve been to every party… I’mma be honest. Now, look, I’m going to be very very transparent on this show. If these freak-offs are happening, it’s on a completely different day than the actual Puff parties.”
She said that at every one of these parties she attended, Diddy was present the whole time and was usually busy hosting the party, hanging out in a DJ booth. “Now I’ve had this conversation with Ray J, [he’s] one of my best friends,” she continued. “I said, ‘Ray, did they ever invite you to a freak-off, ’cause they never invited me and I have been at these parties.’ Why didn’t I get the invite? Maybe they know I don’t get down like that, okay cool, but you would think maybe an assistant would come up.”
Ray J told her that he never got an invite to one of these alleged “freak-offs” either. “I’ve never seen none of that stuff, but that’s not to say that it does not happen or invalidate people… But I do think different day that I’m just not invited to, I don’t know,” she said. Sharpe compared the allegations to those against Russell Simmons, who faced similar accusations of sexual misconduct, and asked if she believes all the lawsuits are part of a “ploy to take down prominent high-powered Black men.”
She replied that she doesn’t know, and that it depends on the evidence in all these cases. “I don’t know, because the internet is fake,” she said. “You just don’t know. But if that is, in fact, true, then that is a problem. One thing I do know about Puff is that he’s an abuser. You know, he abused Cassie. We all saw the video, it is not okay. But as far as the freak-offs, I don’t know about that.” She clarified that she was never particularly close to Diddy, but she was friendly enough to get invites to his parties.
Diddy has been hit with dozens of lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct, most recently with former Da Band member Sara Rivers accusing him of sexual harassment during production of Making the Band. The disgraced Bad Boy Records founder is currently awaiting trial on racketeering, sex trafficking by force, and transportation for purposes of prostitution charges.
Elsewhere in the interview with Sharpe, Rose spoke about her feud with Joseline Hernandez, who she got into a physical fight with on an episode of the BET reality series College Hill: Celebrity Edition. Another prominent subject in the episode was her highly publicized relationship with Ye, whom she dated from 2008 to 2010. She said that he’s got “enablers” in his orbit that “don’t actually care about him,” and also revisited her false claim that he enjoyed fingers in his booty.
