Adelaide’s Shatter Brain announces Asia tour

Shatter Brain burst onto the Australian heavy music scene in January 2018 and have quickly become one of the country’s most exciting new bands.

Hailing from Adelaide South Australia, Shatter Brain are comprised of members of some of South Australia’s most successful heavy bands including ALKIRA, Infiltraitor, Mammoth and Voros. The band recently completed a tour of Australia and New Zealand to support their debut release ‘The Shatter Brain Demo’, culminating in their debut home-town performance in front of 650 people at Heavy SA Festival.

Now, Shatter Brain have set their sights on Asia and will embark on a five-show tour throughout late-June and early-July. The ‘Rip the Stitch Asia Tour’ will include three shows in Taiwan, centred around a performance at Wake Up Fest in Chiayi. The band will then travel to Thailand and Malaysia as main support for Brazilian crossover-thrash legends Ratos de Porão.

Shatter Brain’s debut release ‘The Shatter Brain Demo’ was recorded and mixed by guitarist Jack Hartley (Hartley Audio) and mastered by Joel Grind (Toxic Holocaust, Power Trip, Cavalera Conspiracy) in the USA. The demo captures the raw energy of the band and gives the listener an indication of the Shatter Brain live experience. It is available on physical, digital and streaming formats via BandCamp, iTunes and Spotify.
