Limp Bizkit Make Love to Morgan Wallen on First New Single in 4 Years
Limp Bizkit have released their first new single in four years, and it references Morgan Wallen — and having sex with him in an elevator.
Titled “Making Love to Morgan Wallen,” the new track is exactly what fans have come to expect from the nu-metal pioneers. It features a number of references to other artists, both in tribute and in non-sequitur punchlines, but Wallen is directly named in the closing moments of the track.
“Makin’ love to Morgan Wallen in an elevator,” Durst raps in the outro to the track. “I’ll be turnin’ on you bitches like a generator / I’ll be the greatest muthafucka that you ever hated.”
When he shared an Instagram post about the track, frontman Fred Durst joked, “Really hope someone pops off with a fire dance challenge on this one.”
Elsewhere in the song, Durst pays tribute to the late Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, and David Bowie. “Damn, I miss you Chester / Sending love from a bass compressor,” he raps. “Ground control with a soul like Bowie / And I’ll chop you up if I’m under pressure.“
Durst also raps about getting “kicked out of the Trump resort,” backflipping on a candy cane, moonwalking on a UFO, and a shoutout to the 2001 comedy Pootie Tang.
Limp Bizkit have yet to announce if “Making Love to Morgan Wallen” is expected to appear on a new album, but it’s been almost four years since they dropped their last full-length effort, Still Sucks.
Morgan Wallen has not responded to the track as of press time, but considering he’s relatively quiet on social media, it’s unclear if he ever will.
