Kai Cenat on DDG and Halle Bailey Situation: ‘There’s Two Sides to Every Story’
Kai Cenat believes people should handle the situation between Halle Bailey and DDG with care, and all he’s doing is seeing how things play out.
During a recent livestream, Cenat opened up about Bailey and DDG making headlines over alleged domestic violence. Cenat told viewers that even though there are a lot of moving pieces regarding the situation between Bailey and DDG, he’s caught in the middle and respects both parties as they figure things out.
“I know there’s a lot of things going on but you gotta understand bro,” said Cenat. “This is how I view it personally bro […] there is two sides of a story going on right now and I am in the middle to where I have to be able to just see things play out […] There’s 2 sides to every story and you gotta be able to respect both of them, all you can do is pray for both sides.”
Cenat’s comments come after Bailey was recently granted a restraining order against DDG, her ex-boyfriend and the father of her child, after filing a police report accusing him of physically abusing her several times. The former couple broke up in October 2024, and Bailey claimed things became violent in January when they argued over the visitation schedule for their 18-month-old son.
Bailey accused DDG of pulling her hair and slamming her face into his car’s steering wheel. She also claimed to have chipped her tooth during another altercation with the rapper and alleged that he entered her home without permission in March and took a photo of her empty bed and sent it in a text that also read “Now I know what you’ve been on, lol.”
