Playboi Carti Trolls ASAP Relli After Kendrick Lamar Mentions Him on New Album
Playboi Carti posted AAP Relli after Kendrick Lamar mentioned him on his new album.
Carti hopped on Instagram and shared a post of Relli sitting on the stand in the courtroom, presumably making a handgun gesture at ASAP Rocky.
Carti didn’t include a caption with the post, but he added the “GOOD CREDIT” song from his new album, MUSIC. On the track, Lamar makes an appearance and raps, “The emerald cuff for hers and his, that bitch on point like ASAP Relli.”
Carti and Lamar aren’t the only ones coming at Relli after Rocky’s acquittal in his felony gun assault trial. Rocky’s lawyer, Joe Tacopina, recently bashed Relli during an interview with The Breakfast Club in which he explained how he got the rapper freed.
“This guy is an absolute, pathological liar. And I eviscerated him,” said Tacopina. “I told this jury, you’ve got a front row seat to history because you just witnessed the worst witness ever. You could cross-examine him. He was his own worst enemy.”
“He sued for thirty million over knuckle scrapes,” continued Tacopina. This guy’s a clown. And he’s an admitted liar, an admitted perjurer. He lied at least to the jury 20 times.”
Though Relli lost in the criminal trial, he’s still pursuing a civil case against Rocky. Late last month, Rolling Stone reported that Relli is moving forward with the assault and battery lawsuit. It’s set to begin on Jan. 12, 2026.
“We intend to continue litigating this case,” said Relli’s lawyer, Melissa Mikail, in a virtual hearing. “The standard in a criminal case is much higher than the preponderance of the evidence standard in a civil matter. We still believe that our claims have merit, and we intend on fully litigating them.”
