Travis Scott Hosts 5th Annual Holiday Toy Drive for Houston Families
On Saturday, Dec. 21, Travis Scott hosted his Cactus Jack Foundation 5th annual Winter Wonderland holiday drive to give back to his hometown of Houston.
In partnership with Texas Southern University and the Houston Food Bank, 1,000 residents received toys, merchandise, and hot meals for the holiday season. Over 2,000 toys and bikes were distributed, along with 200 pairs of Scott’s Nike Cactus Jack collaboration sneakers. The event also featured an inflatable theme park for children to enjoy.
Scott is giving back to his beloved community and his alma mater further by honoring his family’s HBCU lineage, awarding over a million dollars in scholarships to over 100 graduating seniors via his Waymon Webster Scholarship Program.
In attendance at the historic event were Scott’s family, TCU Chairman Brandon L. Simmons, Houston Controller Chris Hollins, and surprise guests Don Toliver and Serena Page.
Earlier this month, it was announced that Metro Boomin and Dave Chappelle will join other stars at the third annual Cactus Jack Foundation HBCU Celebrity Softball Classic on Feb. 13, 2025. Organized by Travis Scott, the event will be held at Daikin Park, home of the Houston Astros, and supports his Cactus Jack Foundation and Project H.E.A.L.
