6ix9ine Arrested for Violating Supervised Release

Tekashi 6ix9ine is back in federal custody after violating his supervised release.

ABC News reports that rapper, born Daniel Hernandez, was picked up for an unspecified alleged violation and is due to appear in New York federal court on Tuesday.

In 2018, 6ix9ine was arrested on racketeering and conspiracy charges After pleading guilty, he cooperated with the authorities to testify against the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods.

6ix9ine received a lighter sentence because of his cooperation and was released from prison in 2020 for a supervised release.

6ix9ine’s recent arrest isn’t the only legal issue that he’s having right now. The rapper’s been accused of domestic violence and theft by his ex-girlfriend Yailín La Más Viral in a lawsuit.

On his Instagram Story last month, 6ix9ine seemingly responded to the lawsuit with a message in Spanish that translates to English, “The person that’s advising her that thinks it’s a good idea to lie, let them know that it’s better to go against the devil than against me. This is the United States of America, not DR. Over there you can manipulate people and confuse them with fake press and gossip. Over here, I shit on lawsuits and then piss on them. My life and my past have taught me that you can never trust anyone and to always keep proof for moments like this.

Back in July, two of 6ix9ine’s custom luxury vehicles were sold at a government auction after they were seized by the IRS earlier this year. The rapper’s 2019 Lamborghini Urus sold for $175,043 while his 207 Bentley Continental GT Speed sold for $85,000.

The rapper had to hand over those valuable assets to cover a $9.8 million judgment that was filed against him back in 2021 by a dancer who accused him of hitting her with a champagne bottle.
