Cristina Mackey Claims She Felt God Called Her to Date Rick Ross to ‘Get You Where You Need to Go’
Cristina Mackey claims she felt God called her to date Rick Ross.
The singer and influencer, who briefly dated the 48-year-old rapper last December before calling it quits in February, went on Instagram Live to share her thoughts on the relationship, which she suggests was divinely orchestrated.
When asked during the live stream about what made her stay in Miami, Mackey said, “Have you been to Miami? This place is incredible to me.”
“I just feel like God was like, ‘Hey, I need you to date this person real quick so I can get you where you need to go. You need to be in this city,’” she added. “My mom said the same thing too. She was like, ‘God brought you here for me, to be closer to me.’”
Elsewhere in the stream, Mackey discussed her plans to travel to Turkey to get a cavity filled. The procedure comes nearly eight months after Ross paid for her to get her teeth done in Colombia.
Mackey announced her split from Ross in March, explaining to fans that the couple had broken up nearly two weeks before he was spotted with another woman at a Miami Heat and Detroit Pistons game.
“I’ve never experienced ‘getting left.’ I’m just not docile. I don’t feel played; the sales on mackeybody.com are thriving and I’m grateful,” she said. “The situation was beautiful and I meant every word during our amazing six-month run. If others are upset about my joy/pride in the moment, that’s their stress to bear.”
“We had a clean break two weeks ago and I never pretended to be the last. I embrace both negative and positive traction with love. And no, I won’t be appearing on anybody’s podcast,” she added.
