Ray J Says Other Celebrities Will ‘Step Down or Be Exposed’ in Light of Diddy Arrest

Ray J could have a future in news correspondence after revisiting NewsNation this week with more thoughts on Diddy‘s arrest.

On Monday (September 30), the R&B singer and reality television star was a guest on the program alongside Angelica Nwandu, founder of The Shade Room, to discuss allegations made against Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs. The Bad Boy Records founder is currently in jail after being charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.

Many have speculated about what high-profile individuals could’ve been involved in Diddy’s orchestrated “feak offs,” which were lengthy sex sessions that allegedly involved trafficking victims. In the unsealed three-count indictment, it was alleged that “a variety of controlled substances to victims” were distributed to “in part to keep the victims obedient and compliant.” The gatherings would allegedly cause victims to be so exhausted afterwards that they “typically received IV fluids to recover from the physical exertion and drug use.”

But according to Ray J, other famous individuals could be named as part of the case.

“I’ve been around long enough to know that when there’s smoke, you always find fire,” Ray J told NewsNation anchor Brian Entin.

“I think that with the market in our world being so cornered and you have this crew of people at the top who make all the decisions, it’s like a house of cards,” he continued. “When one falls, the whole deck comes down.”

Ray J predicted that “we’ll be seeing a lot of this,” including “celebrities” and “people in power” who may decide to “step down or be exposed” after facing similar accusations.

“I think that’s just where we are in this game,” he continued. “I think a lot of people have a very long success story at times and then sometimes that fall is harder. You can’t kick everybody down, everybody is innocent until proven guilty.”

He concluded, “And so the question is what do we do now? How do we save the new future? How do we save our future entrepreneurs? What are the roadmaps that we need to put together to not have this happen moving forward?”

Ray J previously spoke on these “roadmaps” while in conversation with NewsNation’s Chris Cuomo last week, also claiming that most celebrities were “in shock” about the Diddy news. He also denied having any awareness of the nefarious nights, which were unrelated to Diddy’s publicly-known, invite-only parties.

“We’ve never seen the stuff that’s being said and the stuff that people are finding out, like, I’ve never been in rooms that people are talking about, and I never knew they existed,” Ray J told Cuomo around the 4-minute mark of the video below. “And a lot of people in the industry can can agree with me on that sense.”

He continued, “To see where we are now, I think everybody is still trying to digest it and still trying to understand it. And even though they’re still allegations, and it’s not anything that’s factual yet, it’s hurtful and it’s confusing to a lot of people.”
