Suicideboys Respond to Criticism for Taking Photo With Drake: ‘You Just a Motherfu*cking Hater’

Suicideboys absolutely eviscerated everyone who had negative feedback over the duo posing for photos with Drake following their show in Toronto earlier his week.

The two discussed the backlash onstage without mentioning the Toronto rapper by name. “They had grown ass people taking time out of their lives writing a whole fucking paragraph and thesis about why we shouldn’t be taking pictures with a certain somebody,” Scrim said, to which Ruby da Cherry responded, “I don’t understand it.”

Scrim kept going, and he did not hold back one bit.

“You’re a fucking weirdo. You’re a fucking loser. You’re a fucking cocksucker. And if anybody got the nerve to hate on me and this motherfucker, who built something out of nothing—we come from the motherfucking dirt,” he said. “At that point, bro, you just a motherfucking hater. And I hope you go home and you let your mama know that she raised a bitch.”

It might be safe to say that Suicideboys delivered their message loud and clear.

As for what led to the moment that sparked controversy online, the Grey Day Tour stopped at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto on Monday. Drake was in attendance and met up with the Louisiana rappers after their performance, where they snapped a few pictures that were posted on Drizzy’s Instagram.

Drake praised their show, which had him in a “reflective” mood as he witnessed them “pack out the Scotia and see the city show you both love.”

While it’s unclear exactly what led to people online raining on Suicideboys’ parade, the photo follows the historical hip-hop beef between Drake and Kendrick Lamar earlier this year. The larger conversation surrounding Kendrick and Drizzy has continued in subsequent months, thanks to another surprise drop of a Kendrick track (this time right at the start of the MTV Video Music Awards) and the announcement that he would be the next Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show headliner.
