Anderson.Paak Partners With Jameson Whiskey For ‘Distilled Sounds’ Music Programme

Multi-dimensional star Anderson .Paak has teamed up with Jameson Whiskey to launch a new music programme that aims to seek out 20 new talents from across the globe and unite their disparate talents and backgrounds for something entirely new.

Launched yesterday, ‘Distilled Sounds’ uses .Paak’s natural charm and gift for finding connections in unexpected places to bring together artists from all over the world. With Jameson Sound Distillery in Cook as the base of operations, .Paak and the team will coordinate emerging musicians from India, South Africa, North America, Europe, and Malaysia to see what their combined talents can produce.

Commenting on the Sound Distillery, Anderson .Paak shares: “The Sound Distillery will enable artists from across the globe to get in a room together to unlock the magic of connection. The connection and energy needed for song writing is best served face to face, so we’ll be bringing artists from across the world to Ireland, where they’ll engage in a week’s worth of creativity, jamming and making new music in our Sound Distillery.

“I’m going to be meeting, teaching and supporting a load of great artists and cannot wait to share what we make. It’s all about the connection man! Countries around the world have such exciting music scenes, you really want to bring them together and create something new, for the fans. Who knows – we may create a new genre! The Sound Distillery is like nothing I’ve ever done before—I cannot wait to get started.”

To launch the programme, Jameson Whiskey has created a short film with Anderson .Paak and his alter ego DJ Pee .Wee in their radio station JJ Smoove 178.0. Take a look at that at the top and then follow the action via Jameson Distilled Sounds Hub and YouTube
