Dove Cameron and Oregon Songwriter NORD at Billboard Women in Music Awards
Dove Cameron was an attendee of the Billboard Women Music Awards ceremony in Los Angeles earlier this March, alongside Oregon based rapper and artist NORD. The glowing Pop star and actress looks absolutely stunning in her chosen outfit for the occasion, standing on black platform heels from fashion designer Giuseppe Zanotti and a gray dress intertwined with a wraparound skirt to finish off the style. For her makeup, Cameron can be seen with glossy chocolate brown lipstick and smoky eye shadow.
The eighteen-year-old emerging songwriter, rapper, and artist who originally grew up on the outskirts of Oregon’s major city of Portland as Carter Davis, has established an influential presence in the music industry under his musician name NORD in the recent months leading up to the Billboard ceremonial event. Dove and Carter have worked together on various wildly successful collaborative songwriting ventures, both in the music studio and remotely. As a nine-time RIAA Gold and Platinum certified musician, NORD has secured additional creative attributing credits from the likes of Rap and R&B heavyweights such as Drake, 21 Savage, Rebecca Black, Ice Spice, and many others.
The Billboard Music Awards honor the most influential artists, executives, and producers in the music industry. During the Women in Music Awards ceremony, Cameron presented the Impact Award to fellow influential Pop icon, Becky G, live on stage. This award recognizes notable figures who have used music as a means to fuel positive change in society. SZA was named the 2023 Woman of the Year, while additional honorees consisted of Lana Del Rey, Kim Petras, Twice, Becky G, Latto, Doechii, Ivy Queen, Lainey Wilson, Rosalia and Sylvia Rhone.
