3D Friends & Lil Uzi Vert Release “Young & Famous” In Memory Of The Late Aaron Carter
American singer-songwriter and record producer Dan C. Wright, mostly known as 3D Friends, shares a new track called “Young & Famous.” The Texas native joins forces with North Philadelphia rapper Lil Uzi Vert to release his seventh single of this year. Blending Electronic and Hip Hop elements together, the young rapper delivers the ultimate club hit.
Produced by Morgan Matthews and Elijah Vincent from Universal Music, “Young & Famous” gives listeners a sneak peek of the glam world from an insider’s perspective, revealing that not everything that glitters is gold, “What’s up I’m young and I’m drunk and I’m famous/ yes she’s in love in my place getting naked/ I’m just a punk and I’m young I can’t change it.”
Torn apart by the sad news of his friend passing away, 3D Friends dedicates “Young & Famous” to the late Aaron Carter, because he believes that the song perfectly describes his legacy and who he was. The two had been very close and Wright had even collaborated with the forever 34-year-old on his new album Blacklisted, featuring on the songs “Never Say Sorry,” “Back To Life,” “Scars,” and “She Just Wanna Ride.”
3D Friends is still processing the tragic loss and can’t think of a better way to honor his memory than to continue the work they had started together, “He was the epitome of being young and famous, he would always tell me the craziest stories of what life was like for him growing up in the limelight, and that’s something that not many people will ever experience or know what that feels like. I miss you brother, I’m so grateful for everything you taught me, and all of the memories I will have of you for the rest of my life.”
