Maulo is in party mode in new single “Roll It” [Video]

Fast-rising UK afrobeats artist and songwriter Maulo returns triumphantly to the forefront with his new single “Roll It” and its accompanying video. The song is a follow-up to his previous release “Ambition” which was in collaboration with the sports brand Under Armour was used as a ring walk song that British boxing sensation Anthony Joshua walked out to, in front of over 60,000 people, before his first fight with Oleksandr Usyk last September.

Produced by Specialist Moss (Shy FX, Zed Bias, Mr. Williamz), “Roll It” is driven by infectious percussion drums and lush synths, over which Maulo is in flying form with his catchy flow and delivery. The crooner is in a celebratory mood as he beckons his leading lady to come and have a dance with him, in a nod to afrobeat’s massive dance community that inspired him to write the song.

The video also taps into the celebratory mood of the song and captures a party with Maulo doing what he knows best among friends and a bevy of beautiful ladies.

Now signed to Tenwest, Maulo’s new single serves as a precursor to his forthcoming sophomore EP
