Heartbreak Inspires Ambitious Artist J Aktive To Record New Album Bad Luv
J Aktive shares details on new album Bad Luv. The LP is an eight-track masterpiece mixing different genres like Hip-Hop, R&B, neo-soul, rap, and pop.
The “PIST OFF” songwriter has already caught the attention of major celebrities with the track garnering millions of views and racking up over hundreds of thousands of Spotify plays. J Aktive wrote the hit, because he felt like there were lots of songs about love, but none could portray what he was truly feeling inside. The musician wanted to share the difficulties he had to go through in his relationship, from his own perspective.
Being backstage at his brother’s concerts made J Aktive realize his passion for music. Watching Michael Jackson, Tupac,and Bob Marley perform on TV as a child, has immensely inspired his sound. The beat-boxer reveals in an interview; “I’m kinda like a soulful hip-hop, rap, singer, like if Tupac, Michael Jackson, and Bob Marley could have a baby, it would come out as J AKTIVE. I’m like a neo-soul, pop, rap artist.”
J Aktive’s favorite songs from the album Bad Luv are “The One” and “Fall back.” “The One” makes him feel energetic, while “Fall Back” takes him on a nostalgic trip to the ’90s. With this latest project, the multi-talented artist hopes to establish his brand and secure an everlasting spot in the industry. J Aktive plans to release a new music video for “The One” very soon.
