We should be “All In” for indie-pop artist Grady’s new single
LA-based indie-pop artist Grady‘s feel good beats have been turning heads. Having just released his debut album last year, he’s racked up millions of streams, taking the bedroom pop world by storm. Grady recently released the official video for his new single “All In.” An anthem about newfound love and listening to your heart, it’s bound to get you ready for the summer.
“All In” beats like a heart, bringing listeners to life. Swirling and swinging melodies pair well with static-like vocals throughout. Those anthem vibes come out with the addition of handclaps and background vocal “oohs” and “ahhs.” Enveloped in vivid primary colors, the track sounds like complete controlled chaos.
While his sound is charmingly unfamiliar, one can definitely relate to his heartfelt lyrics. Grady gave a funny, but honest explanation of the track: “You hear all the time, ‘Don’t double text, don’t simp, don’t be thirsty,” Grady explains. “‘All In’ is the opposite of all those new rules, it’s just – “fuck it, I like you, I’m all in. It’s about that moment you know in your heart that you want to take a relationship with someone to the next level.”
The music video has the same enthusiasm as the track. The video shamelessly picks at the popularity of dating apps, taking you inside the blank, gray walls of a dating app’s offices to see the silliness they get into.
Grady will be releasing new music later this year.
