6ix9ine Spotted Enjoying a Workout at Planet Fitness After Prior Attack at Different Gym
“He was attacked in a sauna at a gym by three or four thugs who beat him up (he tried fighting back),” Lazzaro told Complex in March. “He had cuts to his face and bruises. Employees heard the disturbance and the perpetrators fled. Police in South Florida were called and he was transported via ambulance to a local hospital.”
As previously reported, 6ix9ine was quick to make light of the alleged attack by jokingly introducing an “LA Fitness challenge” on social media. In an interview with WTVJ, 6ix9ine called the incident “cowardly” when noting the surprise nature of the attack.
“It was tough to watch because it was so unexpected. … It’s cowardly,” 6ix9ine told Sheli Muñiz in April during a joint interview alongside Lenier. “When I look at it, I just see hate, right?”
6ix9ine is currently fresh off the release of his “Shaka Laka” track featuring Kodak Black and Yailin la Más Viral. Kodak’s involvement in the song, notably, spurred extended controversy following Boosie Badazz’s remarks.
