6ix9ine Removes Ankle Monitor After Reportedly Completing 90-Day House Arrest

6ix9ine was in quite the celebratory mood on Instagram Monday evening.

The 28-year-old rapper posted a video of himself, accompanied by two women, who helped him cut off his ankle monitor. The “TROLLZ” artist celebrated his newfound freedom by rapping along to lyrics from a new song and jumping into a nearby pool.

“I’m freeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee 🤘,” 6ix9ine wrote in the caption.

6ix9ine was arrested in Oct. 2024 for an unspecified violation of his supervised release. According to CBS News, the rapper worked out a deal with federal prosecutors the following month that involved him serving one month behind bars, followed by three months of home detention with a curfew and electronic monitoring.

His Florida home was raided by federal probation officers and local law enforcement agents earlier this month. TMZ reported 6ix9ine was handcuffed for roughly six hours during the search where drugs and unspecified narcotics were seized.

A rep for the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said the search warrant was executed as part of the probation process.

According to TMZ Hip Hop, 6ix9ine has completed his home detention and was allowed to remove his ankle monitor. However, the rapper remains under federal probation until November.
