21 Savage Shares ‘American Dream’ Trailer Starring Donald Glover and Caleb McLaughlin

Savage Season is in full swing.

Monday, mere hours after a poster was shared featuring Donald Glover and Caleb McLaughlin adorned with 21 Savage’s forehead dagger tattoo, fans were given the official trailer for American Dream: The 21 Savage Story. Per press notes, the trailer marks the beginning of a new era for 21, whose most recent solo studio album I Am > I Was arrived back in December 2018.

The four-minute trailer gives us the first listen of a new 21 track, the instantly stuck-in-your-head hook of which sees the Grammy winner rapping “My shooter pescatarian but he eat up all the beef.”

As the song plays, we’re introduced to Glover and McLaughlin’s depictions of 21 at different ages.

“These people, they think we’re savages,” a young 21 is told. “Remember the wishing star. Whenever you feel lost, just remember I’m looking up at that same star. That star is your dream, and they can never take it.”
