Over the weekend, Young Thug hinted at the idea of dropping a third project in 2018 with On the Rvn, which playfully jabs at his ongoing legal issues. The ATL native took to Instagram to post a photo of a notepad on Tuesday (Sept. 11) featuring handwritten names of those who contributed to his possible upcoming solo effort.
Thugger previously connected with Elton John on a remix of his 1972 classic "Rocket Man," and the two may have something new up their sleeve. Other names making the cut include 6LACK, who is dropping his sophomore East Atlanta Love Letter project on Friday; Jaden Smith; and YSL's T-Shyne. Each was comically designated a role in the judicial system, such as judge, codefendant or prosecutor.
The 27-year-old artist has reportedly been hit with eight felony charges stemming from a September 2017 arrest. A grand jury warrant has been issued in Young Thug's name in DeKalb County, Georgia. More recently, Thugger caught the attention of law enforcement when he was arrested last month at a Hollywood Dave & Buster's with members of his crew for weapons-related charges.
Keep your eyes peeled for On the Rvn. For now, check out Thug's Instagram post below.
