Kanye West has been rolling on a purple patch over the past month, during which five ‘Ye-produced projects dropped. Kanye season is over. The final of the series, Teyana Taylor's sophomore album, has just dropped today (June 22).
KTSE was supported with an album launch party in Los Angeles on June 21, which was meant to stream live at 11pm PT on Twitter. Like the parties that came before it, this too started later than advertised.
The G.O.O.D Music label head and was on hand once more for the big reveal, as Kim Kardashian, LA LA and Taylor’s NBA star husband Iman Shumpert amped up the party vibe on social media.
KTSE is the followup to Taylor’s VII, which peaked at No. 19 on the Billboard 200 in November 2014. The new set should enjoy a push when Taylor and Jeremih trek across North America later this year for a 24-city joint tour.
