Taylor Bennett stormed The Tonight Show on Monday night (July 30) for the TV debut of his hyped single "Rock N' Roll," and it's safe to say he rocked it.
The Chicago MC, younger brother of Chance The Rapper, dropped his 6-track Be Yourself EP earlier this month, with songs featuring notable collaborations with Young Thug and Bianca Shaw.
Bennett's TV debut was a low-key event, with the rapper backed up by animated visuals, including a cartoon version of himself and a live band that gave the single a whip-cracking snap. The song began with a chill R&B vibe, but as it picked up steam, the instrumentals cranked up and Bennett's voice turned up a notch with the rapper spitting bars over the hum of the electric guitar and powerful drums, adding to the drama of the line, "It's all down hill from here."
