As he readies his forthcoming project Beerbongs & Bentleys and prepares to head on the road for his joint tour with 21 Savage, Post Malone recently sat down with MONTREALITY for a wide-ranging interview, in which the rapper shared his thoughts on the U.S. government, his life at 86 years old (seriously), being a fan 50 Cent and more.
The chat began with Posty explaining why the U.S government is "the biggest lie in the world." He said the government has changed tremendously and used to be "about the people and freedom" and likened the government to a reality show.
Later on in the interview, Malone praised 50 Cent as a "legend" and reminisced about listening to 50 Cent and other New York rappers while he was growing up in Syracuse. Malone said he decided to remake the G-Unit rapper's "Window Shopper" because "he's such a genius with his melodies" and added that he considers the rapper-turned-actor a friend.
Malone also shared his thoughts on fans wearing vintage band T-shirts despite not knowing much about the band they're wearing. "I feel like you shouldn't wear the shirt unless you f--- with the music," he told MONTREALITY.
This April, Post Malone and 21 Savage will hit the road together for an extensive, 28-city jaunt that will take the two rappers -- as well as their openers SOB x RBE -- to major cities, including New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Las Vegas and more.
