Ed Banger Records Officially Announces Forthcoming 'EdRec 100' Compilation

The prolific, Paris-based record label Ed Banger Records has undoubtedly been one the most important labels for dance music in the past decade. Having shepherded the careers French heavyweights Justice, Cassius, Sebastian (and influenced the rise other French dynasties like Bromance) label owner Busy P has established Ed Banger as one the most iconic independent labels in recent memory.

Today, Ed Banger has announced a release date for one their most exciting projects in a long time, a hearty compilation record featuring almost every major artist that has previously released a project on Ed Banger. This will be the 100th release from Ed Banger, so it was only right to include all the artists that helped make the label what it is today. The compilation will include everyone from Sebastian, to Boys Noize, to Justice, to Cassius and even Busy P himself. Here’s what Busy P (Pedro Winters) had to say about the forthcoming compilation:

“It was too hard to choose which artist will do the 100th release the label so we’ve asked everybody to make a track for this record. Here is ED REC 100 – a 17 track compilation.”

Check out Busy P’s recently released music video for his new track ‘Genie’, which was made in collaboration with Mayer Hawthorne.
