Here’s the chance to own a piece electronic music history – a Roland TR-909 used by Daft Punk’s Thomas Bangalter is for sale.
Original presets used to produce famous tracks including ‘Homework’ and ‘Revolution 909’ are still loaded on the machine for sale.
Assigning a price tag to a machine that was part many notable pieces music is too difficult. , the current owner the TR-909 turned over the job pricing to potential buyers. “Needless to say, it’s a collector’s item, so it’s impossible to set a price. We will sell it to the highest bidder.”
The listing was posted to Facebook on Tuesday and an interested buyer has already fered £10,000.
Roland TR-909s are valuable pieces hardware. Depending on its condition, an original could cost £ 1,500. The price tag on this specific machine includes important historical value.

Bangalter apparently accumulated more than 10 Roland TR-909s over the years. The one on sale is the fifth in his collection.

Years after the Roland TR-909 was first introduced, Bangalter continued to use it in his productions including 1997 release ‘.’ Daft Punk and the TR-909 left a deep impact on electronic music, hopefully this machine’s new owner will cherish it.
