Andy Mineo and Wordsplayed are joining forces to take on the summer music scene, and the two are just about ready to release their Magic & Bird mixtape. They just announced their upcoming project together, and even revealed the ficial release date for the collaboration mixtape.

The new project, which is already available for pre-order as today (July 3), is slated to be available for streaming and purchase on Aug. 4. The new tape is reflective the the “Know That’s Right” rapper and Wordsplayed’s love for the 1990s, as the title alone taps into the nostalgia basketball culture in the popular decade, naming themselves after baller legends, Magic Johnson and Larry Bird.

On top announcing the new joint project dropping next month, the two also released a new song for fans f the mixtape called “Dunk Contest.” The upbeat track was produced by BEAM, and contains tons sports references that will get basketball fans excited.
