Tekashi 6ix9ine has teamed up with fellow New Yorker Nicki Minaj for the release of his new song "FEFE."
As promised by 6ix9ine on social media Friday, the hard-hitting Murda Beatz and Cubeatz produced track arrived Sunday (July 22). Listen to "FEFE" below.
The release of "FEFE" follows the 22-year-old rainbow-haired rapper's recent release from from Rikers Island for allegedly choking a teenager in a Houston mall. He was released on $150,000 bail.
On the same day "FEFE" dropped, TMZ reported that 6ix9ine was in the hospital after being kidnapped, pistol whipped, and robbed. The incident took place while the rapper was driving home at around 4 a.m. after working on a new music video in Brooklyn. The three robbers reportedly made off with $750,000 in jewelry and up to $20,000 in cash. 6ix9ine is currently in the hospital, where doctors are performing various tests, including a CT scan, according to TMZ.
6ix9ine, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, rose to fame in 2017 with the release of his song "Gummo." Two years earlier, the rapper pled guilty to three felony counts in New York Supreme Court for use of a child in a sexual performance.
