Due to "unforeseen circumstances," Korn's regular four-stringer Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu is unable to join the band on their upcoming South American trek, so the young Trujillo will be stepping out on stage in his place.
The youngster can usually be found showing f his musical chops in the North California-based band the Helmets, but will serve as an honorary member Korn for seven shows starting on April 17 in Colombia.
Arvizu is expected to rejoin Korn for their North American shows this summer.
"We are bummed Fieldy can't join us on this run but excited to do a few gigs with a young player like Tye," Korn said in a statement Facebook. "We look forward to welcoming our brother Fieldy back when we return to the States in May."
Canadian fans should be able to catch Arvizu back with the band when Korn stops f in Toronto on July 25 at the Budweiser Stage. You can see the band's complete upcoming itinerary over here.
